We publish long-form investigative dossiers, usually 15,000 to 40,000+ words, with strict checking, careful documentation, and security-first work habits. Our reporting moves through a network of 1,000+ investigative outlets and 25,000+ media properties.

We do not share draft dossiers for approval. Any updates we provide are about operations only, never about unreleased investigative details.
We may decline or return support
If support risks independence, credibility, safety, or compliance, we can pause, end, or return it.
No immunity clause
Supporting Ekalavya Hansaj does not remove scrutiny. If facts point to a supporter or affiliate, we keep the right to report.
This rule protects the public record, and it protects us from being used as a shield.
Monthly Institutional Support
$2,000–$10,000 per month. Keeps long-cycle reporting alive: verification time, editors, security work, legal readiness, and resilient distribution.
One‑Time Institutional Support
$10,000–$25,000. Helps a defined phase: research sprints, document handling, translation, and cross-property publishing work.
Major Patron Institutional Funding
$25,000+. Supports core infrastructure: security hardening, verification systems, legal resilience, data workflows, and scale across partners.
In‑kind support
We may accept tools, services, or datasets when provenance, security, and independence checks pass.
You may receive
- Stewardship updates that stay non-editorial.
- Periodic reporting, only as agreed in writing.
- Recognition if you opt in, or confidentiality if you prefer.
- Clear receipts and documentation for your records.
You do not receive
- Editorial control or influence.
- Draft access or early reads of dossiers.
- Guaranteed targets, guaranteed publication, or guaranteed dates.
- Suppression rights, or special rights beyond normal fairness.
Default stance
Recognition is optional. If you say nothing, we treat institutional support as private.
If you opt in, we follow your choice and your compliance needs.
Opt‑in options
- Public supporter listing (name and optional link).
- Named acknowledgement on select pages when appropriate.
- Anonymous support, when screening allows it.
- Embargoed recognition until a date, if approved.
Anonymous support condition
Anonymous institutional support is accepted only when the donor is from a non‑sanctioned economy and passes reasonable compliance screening.
This keeps the network safe and keeps the record clean.
What we may ask for

- High-level source-of-funds description.
- Conflict disclosures that could overlap with subjects we cover.
- Beneficial ownership details when relevant.
- Consent for proportionate sanctions and PEP screening.
